Men’s Golf | April 4, 2022

TACOMA, Wash. –  The La Salle men’s golf team was called off the course on Monday afternoon, unable to finish the opening round of the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay due to unsafe weather conditions.
For the second time in as many events this spring season, the Explorers braved unideal weather as they opened the morning battling against 40mph winds and multiple heavy rainstorms. The stop-start progression continued through the day, almost nearing the end of the round before another rain delay deemed the course to unsafe to play.
Officials running the event came to the decision to clear the opening two rounds, the field set for an 18-hole shootout on Tuesday to determine the event.
